About
A selection of artwork created by local residents from Yardley, inspired by Imran Qureshi’s exhibition.
Ikon is Birmingham City Council’s Arts Champion for Yardley 2014–2017, providing high quality arts activities for people from a wide range of communities in the four wards of Acocks Green, Stechford and Yardley North, South Yardley, and Sheldon. In November, artists from the local arts forum, Arts in the Yard, take part in a masterclass with Imran Qureshi, providing skills and insight for the delivery of local workshops exploring the artist’s ideas, themes and techniques throughout December and January.
