Calling all Artists, launching new Artists' Network Assembly Following the shining example of the Jewellers and Silversmiths Network we are reforming the network to better cater for local artists' needs. Taking into consideration your suggestions and requests from the returned evaluation surveys, we have designed an exciting new peer-lead network format. The groups will meet monthly to discuss their creative business practice, share knowledge, support each other's endeavours, to have work critiques and perhaps to work collaboratively and exhibit as a group. Every fourth month there's the opportunity to meet with the other groups at the Assembly, during the year each satellite group will take turns chairing the Assembly, inviting guest speakers or perhaps hosting a hands-on training event that will be useful to all. Held here at the Maltings we will provide the room for you hold your network meetings and will give support, but really it's over to you to set the agenda you want, for your group. We envisage each group will develop their own way of working and will evolve to be the best format for your artistic discipline's needs.
