6x6 project is an online artists’ community that serves as a platform for disseminating artists’ moving image works, and to create an ever-growing network among peers.
About
6x6 project draws inspiration from the alternative art space movement of the 1970s in New York by utilizing the ‘artists-selecting-artists’ model—six artists, each selecting another artist for inclusion on the platform, every six weeks.
The 6x6 project platform launched on 17 June, 2017. Since then, there have been twenty-two editions with six different artists. There are now a total of one hundred and thirty-two artists’ profiles and more than three hundred artists’ film and moving image works available to view on the website.
