About

Sat 28 May, 12-2pm // At Turf Gallery // Free & refreshments provided

Our open lunchtime crits take place every last Saturday of the month, with each session led by a practicing artist alongside participants who will take turns to discuss their work with the group.

May’s crit will be led by 'Can I help you?' artist Magnus Ayers. Magnus lives and works in London, and is currently a studio holder at Turf Projects. He graduated from BA Fine Art Goldsmiths (2011- 2014). View Magnus’ work online at magnusayers.blogspot.co.uk & turf-projects.com/magnus-ayers

// WANT TO PARTICIPATE?
Participation is not mandatory - you can simply come and view the works and take part in the discussions - but if you’d like to participate in showing your artwork, please send imagery of or link to the work you wish to show in the crit to alice@turf-projects.com (with any requirements for AV equipment and/or install instructions!)

// FEEDBACK FROM PAST PARTICIPANTS:
“The lunchtime crit at Turf was a real pleasure to be a part of. The space and attendees promoted a comfortable space that personally benefited me by provoking honesty and allowing pressing critique of one another’s works, it’s a safe space to get feedback and engage with a variety of practises with a variety of artists at different stages in their careers, or studies. I will certainly be attending more in the future.”
// Jess Bryant

“I found it helpful and useful to meet with other Artists from around London whose work I wasn’t previously familiar with. Turf Projects seems to attract a really interesting mix of practitioners across a variety of disciplines, who are open to discussion, debate and the exchange of knowledge and experience”
// Ben Wesley Clarke
