Second Year students on the Fine Art Degree course at Hereford College of Arts curate an exhibition of their own work.
About
Seventeen students are currently in the second year of their studies at Hereford College of Arts for a BA Honours in Fine Art. As part of their 'Exploring Futures' module they are invited to organise an exhibition at Apple Store Gallery to gain experience of the various processes involved, reflect on the nature of their work and future directions and work as part of a team of artists.
We are delighted to be able to offer this annual exhibition linked to our sponsorship of the BA Hons Fine Art End of Degree shows and with hosting Framework Herefordshire - Support Network for Emerging Artists.
'The particular nature of arts practice tends to involve practitioners in working both as practising independent artists and employess within some field of the visual arts.
This module is designed to inroduce you to a wide range of opportunities through which you will establish a specific awareness of professional practice in the creative arts and provides the opportunity for you to undertake appropriate work-based learning.'
The work included ranges across painting and drawing to moving image and installation.
