From the wonderful art collections at the Cooper Gallery and Cannon Hall Museum, this exhibition brings together paintings, ceramics, and glass by great women artists. Explore inspiring and innovative creations from Hannah Barlow at Doulton and Cannon Hall’s own Gertrude Spencer-Stanhope from the 19th century, to renowned 20th-century painters Vanessa Bell and Prunella Clough and ceramicist Lucie Rie. The exhibition will also look at the challenges and opportunities women artists have faced over the generations.
