Artist Talk with Phil Sanders

On Tuesday 14th October we're excited to be welcoming artist and Master Printer Phil Sanders to the studio! Phil Sanders is the founder of PS Marlowe Inc., a consulting firm and publisher of fine art projects based in Brooklyn, NY & Asheville, NC. He was the COO of The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts and Director of Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, NYC from 2006-2014. He was the former Master Printer for Universal Limited Art Editions (ULAE), has taught at Stanford University and San Francisco State University, and lectured extensively on the art of collaboration and the business of art (The Museum of Modern Art, NY and Christie's of London). In addition to his creative services consulting, Sanders exhibits his own artworks internationally with works in the collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and Yale University Art Gallery among others. Phil will be sharing his recent projects with us, along with processes developed for specific artists. Phil has been a professional printer for almost 20 years and has printed with hundreds of artists. His work as a printer is in collaboration which has led him towards the consulting work he does today. In the past few years Phil has been more focussed on sculpture as well as artist books. He is exhibiting at Multiplied Art Fair 17 — 20th Oct and will be releasing a few new publications at the event. If you would like to hear more about Phil's many endeavours please come along to ELP on the 14th October at 7.30pm Please RSVP to @ELPstudio
