Join us for an Artist Talk with Paulo Nazareth in conversation with The Power Plant's Nuyten Dime Curator at Large Carolin Köchlin.
About
Nazareth and Köchlin will do a deep dive into a discussion about our Summer 2022 exhibition, STROKE, on view at The Power Plant from 20 May until 28 August. As part of an interactive conversation with the audience, speakers will share more about the important themes and motivations behind the artist's comprehensive exhibition encompassing site-specific works, photographs of his long-duration performances, and large-scale sculptures that will be on display at Canada Square. STROKE touches upon the effects of the shock caused by racial violence on the human psyche and body, and their relationship to the land.
