About

Join New York-based artist Tschabalala Self for an insightful discussion. Self has created  an intriguing group of works in painting, printmaking and sculpture that show evidence of being influenced by the fractured vision of Cubism and use materials, such as paint, fabric and paper. These diverse materials allow Self to shift the content and meaning of her work from a personal stance to a collective and cultural dimension.
