As part of the exhibition "the horizon looks different from afar. II" (May 18 — 26, 2019) cultural scientist Dr. Anna-Lena Wenzel will be in conversation with four of the five exhibiting artists BETTY BÖHM, KATHRIN GANSER, KATJA PUDOR and SARAH STRASSMANN as well as with the curator Monique Wysterski about the works and the context of the exhibition.
Dr. Anna-Lena Wenzel is an author, journalist and editor. After studying applied cultural sciences in Lüneburg, she wrote her doctoral thesis on "Crossing boundaries in contemporary art". From 2010 to 2013 she worked as a research assistant in the research project "Urban Interventions" at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg. She runs the online city magazine "99 % Urban", writes art reviews for "vonhundert" and other magazines.
The talk will be held in German.
