About

Are you a local photographer who would like to meet other like minded professionals?

Are you a local photographer who would like to meet other like-minded professionals? Join us for our Photography Networking event - a night of conversation and music in partnership with Photo FringeSpectrum Photographic and Jane & Jeremy.

At this annual event we aim to create a space where photographers and creatives at any stage in their career can connect with industry professionals and peers and discover new work at this relaxed evening event.

For this year’s talk and Q&A we're delighted to be joined by Christian Jago, the winner of the 2023 In Between Gallery open call and currently on show in Fabrica's main window. Christian Jago is an artist based in Essex. His practice is a fusion of set design, photography, and various disciplines that culminate in the construction of fantastical worlds inspired by places, stories, daydreams, and memories. Christian predominantly hand-builds miniature-scale sets using techniques such as moulding and casting. The resulting sets are then meticulously lit and photographed, transforming imaginary creations into vivid visual realities.

At this event you can expect:

  • A creative sharing of Christian Jago's work and practice - followed by a Q&A
  • Space to network & connect with other photographers and creatives
  • A fully stocked bar
  • Plus music and other opportunties - more details to follow soon!

The doors & bar will open at 6pm - the talk + Q&A will begin at approximately 7pm and finish by 8pm. Networking, photobook browsing, and music will continue until 9pm.

This event is a fundraiser so your participation will directly support the growth and sustainability of photography-focused opportunities in the city. All profits from ticket sales, bar takings, and donations will go to funding 2024 Photo Fringe networking events and supporting the In Between Gallery project.
