Join us for an artist talk from Liv Fontaine on Saturday 10th March over in Islington Mill's common room, as part of the Beacons programme.

Liv Fontaine will present her new video COLD WHORE CRISIS - an accumulation of a six month project aiming to explore sexual stereotyping and shameful behaviours set to the backdrop of a current nuclear war crisis.
After this cinematic presentation Liv will give an artist talk delving into ideas behind the project and her practice in a broader context. Recurring themes within the work include inappropriate appropriations, expectations of shame, acceptance of shame, shame equivalency's, the female voice, Stockholm syndrome, total hysteria, Monica Lewinsky, Greek Mythology, suburban dreams, cannibalism, baby making and never ending pleasure faking
Liv's work is currently showing at Caustic Coastal as part of Beacons | Flare.
