Artist talk: Conrad Shawcross in conversation with Ziba Ardalan

Exhibiting artist Conrad Shawcross will be in conversation with Director/Curator of Parasol unit, Ziba Ardalan. Shawcross' practice explores theories and methodologies pertaining to geometry and philosophy, physics and metaphysics. His typically large-scale sculptures manifest as modular or mechanical systems with an aesthetic of scientific rationality. Conrad has exhibited internationally with recent exhibitions at Pace Gallery, New York; Location One, New York; The New Art Gallery, Walsall and Musée d'art Contemporain, Lyon. He lives and works in London and is currently Artist in Residence at the Science Museum, London.
