Andrea Zapp of photographic fashion label AZ. will be discussing the inspiration and process behind her unique wearable art, and her research into the future of fashion and technology.

AZ. is a conceptual design label with a strong artistic manifest creating a truly authentic profile in fashion and print. AZ. designs are inspired by Andrea’s background in film and her travels as an internationally exhibiting media artist. Her distinct photography is at the heart of AZ. designs; images are carefully mapped onto silk and quality fabrics, creating sophisticated and highly recognizable garments with outstanding textures and shapes. Natural landscapes, cities, antiques and everyday finds provide inspiration for Andrea Zapp’s unique collections.
The AZ. design studio and team is based in Manchester and all collections are manufactured with high-quality partners across the UK. Andrea Zapp has been retailing with Selfridges and across Asia, and has showcased at the Saatchi Gallery at Scoop/London Fashion Week and at Fashion Scout/Paris Fashion Week. The brand has already established a cult following in the art world; AZ. has developed a portfolio of exclusive limited editions that were commissioned by museums, galleries and other public partners in the UK.
A wide variety of AZ. designs are available to purchase in our independent shop. To coincide with our current exhibition Andrea has curated a collection of designs featuring photographs taken in the North of England. This includes Old Post Office in Liverpool, At Art School in Manchester and Barges in Yorkshire. TheNorth collection is available to purchase with 20% discount.
