About

As we draw to the end of David Shepherds time in Unit #1, David will be joining us to discuss the approach he has taken to his installation, and his practice in general. David has been using his online blog to reveal the ongoing changes and manifestations that have appeared throughout the duration of the exhibition. Working as much with process as presentation, the Unit #1 space has undergone a series of changes, some seen during the gallery's opening hours and others taking place in the dead of night. Like an itinerant workman, David has already come and gone with tin cans, cement mixers, giant oars, ships, remote control helicopters, crutches, a plastic saxophones and a dog. Every moment and observation, no matter how small, has been documented and this final action will be a chance to pull much of this together revealing perhaps a part of David's constant ramble. David encourages you to engage with his blog before the event: http://davidshepherdsalvage.wordpress.com/ This event is free but booking is recommended. Please email sean@g39.org.
