Tim Johnson is an artist, photographer and basketmaker based on the Isle of Wight. He has exhibited extensively in the UK and Ireland, and has participated in exchanges and residencies in Denmark, Australia,
Scotland, Uzbekistan, Spain, Alabama and Newfoundland over the last 20 years.
During his residency, Tim will be using natural materials to weave costumes and disguises, drawing inspiration from the Basketry exhibition and British folklore traditions. He invites you to drop in to the Education Studio to talk to him and maybe get involved.
Tim will also be leading a Creative Studio on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May and taking part in our Basket Spectacular on Sunday 15 May. See Art Skills and Families for more information.
