Salon Contemporary is proud to introduce its very own blog dedicated to Artist of The Week. Salon Contemporary and I are offering the opportunity for one selected artist each week to have their work featured on our blog as part of our website. Salon Contemporary is a vibrant hot-bed network for new talent, carefully selected by director Samir Ceric from the UK's leading art schools, offering an array of original works that explode onto the art market with refreshing vivacity. Each week our team will select different artist whose work will be displayed on Artist of The Week blog for the chance of national and international exposure. Remember, there is no brief, whatever your art and medium is, we want to see it. Each week the selected ‘Artist of The Week' will receive. A spread on our blog featuring images/videos and our mini review. Chance for a national and international exposure. Our help of promotion via facebook/ twitter/ saloncontemporary.com. Invitations to all our VIP and Preview Nights. Finally, we will select our favourite top ten Artist of The Week and give them the chance to feature in our Christmas Show at Salon Contemporary and possible future opportunities. To participate the entrant must be either in the final year of BA university degree, final year of MFA or up to 3 years out of either of these institutions. All entrants must submit no more than 8 digital jpeg images that they feel sum up their practice ( photos should be 300dpi and print quality and no more that 500kb). Artist statement, no longer than 300 words. Links to web pages will not be considered. Your Contact Details.
