Taking place at the end of each month, our free feedback sessions are a chance to get feedback on your work from a practicing artist in a supportive and friendly environment. All kinds of creative work are welcome.

September’s feedback session will be led by Kelly Jackson.

There are five slots available for showing work, but all are welcome to join in the discussion! Please arrive promptly to ensure your place. Email us your images and any additional requirements at info@turf-projects.com if you’d like us to get images up full scale on our projector.

ABOUT KELLY JACKSON //

Kelly Jackson is an artist and tutor at Croydon School of Art. Kelly works mainly in the medium of film and video installation with an interest in modes and the use of meta-levels of delivery to include the audience within the work. She describes her practice as a social practice and often works with non-artists, by forming community groups and clubs in order to produce her films and is concerned with context in which the audience encounters the work and how this contributes to their experience of it. Kelly is interested in performance, entertainment, duality, intimacy, the epic, the extraordinary and possible moments of truth.

Kelly has worked in arts education for the last seven years, teaching on the Level 3 Foundation Diploma in Art & Design and the BA (Hons) Fine Art course at Croydon School of Art and has built a good relationship with Turf Projects through a series of invited artist talks and the annual Turf x Croydon College residency.
