About

Dinner hosted by Jesse Darling and Takeshi Shiomitsu
Saturday, 6 June, 6–10pm
£25 per person, booking essential

For our first dinner in 2015, we have invited Jesse Darling to act as host. Darling was in-residence during 2014 and together with fellow residency artists Olivier Castel, Julia Crabtree & William Evans and Alice Theobald, is showing new work in our gallery exhibition The Fifth Artist which opens on 23 May. During the dinner there will be an opportunity to view the exhibition.

Drawing on 15 years of experience in the service industry, Darling will develop the menu with current residency artist Takeshi Shiomitsu. Informed by a shared inquiry into the production (and performance) of labour, goods and identities under contemporary capitalism, this will be their fourth collaboration.

The dinner is a fixed menu, with a vegetarian option (we aim to accommodate special dietary requirements where possible)

We will not be serving alcohol but you are welcome to bring your own bottle.

Previous dinners have sold out quickly and booking is essential.
