About

Since the 1990s, Turner Prize-winning artist and At Twilight creator Simon Starling has connected distant historical events and disparate cultural traditions to forge "creative misinterpretation." In this opening night lecture, Starling discusses the inspiration he drew from Irish playwright W. B. Yeats' culturally hybrid dance play At the Hawk's Well and the early 20th-century artistic collaborations that helped bring that work to life in the shadow of WWI.

Followed by an exclusive cocktail reception with the artist.
