This December 5th, Caran d’Ache, the makers of iconic stationary and artists materials, invites you to draw outside the lines with artist John Booth at MasterPeace Studios.

About

The one-off creative workshop will give guests the opportunity to design and create their very own Christmas cards, gift tags and wrapping paper in Booth’s signature style. The London-based illustrator, ceramicist and textile designer will guide class-goers through the creative process using the best of Caran d’Ache’s famous drawing and painting tools.

The two-hour session will be an experiential journey through Booth’s creative process as he encourages you to bring your vision to life with colour, texture and energy. Visitors will take home their creations ready to gift to loved-ones.

The workshop will provide an introduction to Caran d’Ache’s iconic drawing materials, exploring different creative techniques and inspired ways to interpret still-life display through the eyes of the celebrated UK artist.

Booth will invite guests into his colourful world using the vivid pigments of Caran d’Ache’s Luminance crayons and Neocolour pastels, used and loved by globally renowned artists and designers. The unrivalled pigmentation and colour-fastness of Caran d’Ache’s products have kept their materials as the favourites of world-famous illustrators and artists for generations, past and future.

John Booth has loved drawing and collaging after experimenting with Caran d’Ache’s art materials since childhood and continues to use them today. His emotive ceramics and recognisable character illustrations have become somewhat of a signature of the artist’s.

Festive refreshments and prosecco will be included in the ticket price, as well as a box of Caran d’Ache’s famous Neocolor II pastels and an 849 ballpoint pen so guests can take their new-found creative techniques home with them.

A limited number of tickets will be available for £15 via Eventbrite link.

Proceeds from the ticket price will be donated to Create Arts.
