ARTIST IN RESIDENCY plus £300 BURSARY

DEADLINE: 12 noon, Thursday 27th October 2011 New Work Network (NWN), in association with Lanternhouse, is pleased to announce an artist residency to take place over 2 weeks, 21st November — 2nd December 2011, at Lanternhouse near the Lake District National Park. NWN is offering a bursary of £300 to cover costs including travel, materials and subsistence and Lanternhouse offers self-catering, single accommodation with use of a communal kitchen alongside other Lanternhouse residents. This NWN residency (available exclusively to NWN members) is offered to artists who can demonstrate how a short period of intensive focus may still allow for a significant impact on the development of their practice through having time to reflect, research, experiment and create new work or strive towards completing an existing project or research phase.
