Over a week-long residency Emma Cameron will create a new body of work in response to students at University of Essex.
About
Emma Cameron explores the human form and psychology in her work, from life, or imagined. Central to her process is an exploration of how random and accidental marks can inspire, lead and create visual tension. Through working closely with students, she will create drawings and paintings based on the conversations they have together.
Emma Cameron has led Art Exchange’s life drawing classes for the past year. This exhibition also includes work by students who’ve developed their skills through Emma’s classes – a chance to see our campus’s hidden talent.
Emma Cameron has exhibited extensively in the UK and abroad. She is also an Integrative Arts Psychotherapist.
