About

Artist Fred Bugs in Rome for posthumous art representation of Surrealism genius Joan Miró Thursday, Sept. 26, 2024, Piazza S.Croce in Gerusalemme,9.. at the Rome Infantry Historical Museum, from 9:30 a.m. onward, abstract artist Fred Bugs, pseudonym of Federico Cabras will be present at the short but intense exhibition on one of the masters of Catalan surrealism Joan Miró.Neo-expressionism artist Fred Bugs, became popular of the immediate recognizability of the often colorless or brightly colored geometric shapes and figures inspired mainly by Italian Futurist art of the early decades of the 20th century. The artist always claimed to be a great fan and follower of Joan Miró, considered by him the most important abstract figurative artist ever, because his artistic career ranged between primitive and childish art , but unlike the primitive artists,Miró always preferred light colors accompanied by black that scanned the shapes, then filled with color. <<If today this childish artistic genre is accepted in a greater way by the art world and critics, it is undoubtedly due to Miró>>,so concludes Fred Bugs, who left us a preview of one of his recent works, inspired by Miró as each one he created, but this time with a style much closer to Miró as if he wanted to pay homage to him.
