About
Art exhibition of over 20 unseen paintings by Arthur Berry ranging from 1960 to 1994. The collection was made by Arthur's wife Cynthia Berry along with Barewall Art Gallery, as well as those included in the book chosen by art critic Peter Davies.
A selection of supporting items on display give the visitor a sense of the work produced by artists in the same circle of Berry in his early days whilst in London and at The Royal College of Art.
This important public exhibition sees Arthur Berry (1925 - 1994) show for the first time in the Borough of Newcastle-under-Lyme, where in he lived in Wolstanton towards the end of his life. Art work will be for sale as well as art prints, merchandise and a collection of signed copies of the hardback book of the same name written by art historian Peter Davies which was released in Dec 2021.
