La Porta della Misericordia, luogo fortemente simbolico per lo svolgimento del Giubileo, è individuata nell’antico portone centrale della basilica.

In occasion of Jubilee of Mercy, with the bolla Misericordiæ vultus, the Basilica of S. Ambrogio Passion's Oratory has been indicated like Jubilee Church.

The Mercy Door, place strongly symbolic for the Jubilee progress, is individuated in the ancient central door of the Basilica.

La centralità di Milano nel contesto europeo è un elemento preferenziale per l’assegnazione di questo grande progetto culturale che valorizza il nostro patrimonio e rafforza le collaborazioni. 

Milano, ambasciatrice dell’Italia nel mondo, si sta già preparando a questo straordinario evento creando opportunità di relazioni e canali di comunicazione. 

Questa rete di relazioni si sovrappone all'area urbana ed ha la sua convergenza al centro, patrimonio di storia e fucina di futuro. 

The importance of Milan in the European context is an element of preference for the assignment of Expo, a great cultural project enhancing our heritage and strengthening cooperation. 

Milan, ambassador of Italy in the world, is preparing for this extraordinary event creating opportunities for relations and communication channels. 

This network of relationships overlaps the urban area and has its convergence in  the city centre, patrimony of history and forge for the future.

Il Progetto - The Project

Questo progetto individua uno dei landmark storici della città consolidata che riesca a dare visibilità ad alcune eccellenze del mondo dell'arte e consenta alla contemporaneità delle opere introdotte di lasciarsi attraversare dal genius loci del luogo, in un rapporto biunivoco e sinergico. 

L'azione combinata e sincronica di più elementi in una stessa funzione, dà continuità: i saperi si compenetrano potenziando il risultato. 

Per questo motivo la mostra non condiziona ad una tematica o ad una tecnica interpretativa: l'artista stabilisce insieme all'opera un codice personale di dialogo con il luogo. 

This project identifies one of the historical landmarks  of the city that is able to give visibility to some excellence in the world of art and let the contemporaneous works to be crossed by the genius loci of the place, in a two-way and synergic relationship.

The combined action in synchrony of various elements in the same function, gives continuity: the knowledges melt together to enhance the result.

For this reason, the exhibition does not require a fixed theme or a technical interpretation: the artist  establishes with his work a code of personal dialogue with the place.

MARZIA RATTI - Luce e subconscio - Light and subconscious

La ricerca di Marzia Ratti è un viaggio compiuto nel subconscio che si nutre di luce. Una proiezione fantastica che tende ad espandersi, da dentro a fuori, alla scoperta di una dimensione post umana. Il focus della sua arte è legato all'emozionale, all’intimità dell'anima e della mente. E’ un'espressione dicotomica, che trae origine dall'immenso potere che il subcosciente esercita nell'essere umano. Essere umano concreto nelle sue forme e fisicità, tangibile, controverso ed inquieto all’ infinita ricerca di se stesso e di quanto oltre sé, proiettato nella corsa verso il domani che chiama progresso. Scienza, tecnologia, genetica, robotica, siamo solo all'inizio della consapevolezza, di una macchina biochimica in corsa, lanciata a velocità esponenziale, senza limiti verso un futuro, dove tutto si fonde e tutto diviene possibile oltre la natura, oltre l'etica, alienando morale e religioni al di là dell'essere umano stesso. 

The pursuit of Marzia Ratti is a journey in the subconscious that feeds on light. A fantastic projection that tends to expand, from inside out, to the discovery of a post-human dimension. The focus of his art is related to the emotional, the intimacy of the soul and the mind. It is a dichotomous expression that derives from the immense power that the subconscious exercises in the human being. To be a concrete human in its forms and physicality, tangible, controversial and restless to the infinite search for itself and beyond itself, projected in the race to tomorrow calling progress. Science, technology, genetics, robotics, we are only at the beginning of our consciousness, a running biochemical machine, launched at an exponential rate, without limits to a future, where everything blends and everything becomes possible beyond nature, beyond ethics , Moral alienation and religions beyond the human being itself.
