How do we want to treat our planet in the future? This question lies at the heart of a unique collaboration between the Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, and American photographer J Henry Fair.
About
In times of "alternative facts", we want to discuss environmental issues with the public. Together with scientists from the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission and the photo artist J Henry Fair, the museum presents an exhibition that bridges art and science and that continues to be shaped with the help of our visitors.
Large aerial photographs show the sometimes catastrophic effects of human action on nature. ARTEFACTS identifies the challenges behind the images, how science and European Union politics work out solutions, and what contribution every individual citizen can make to help. ARTEFAKTE bridges ART and FACT.
