Travel Information
- We are well served by the local bus network. Tell your bus driver you need to get to the top of Brunswick Square in Western Road, Hove, or the east end of Hove Lawns on the seafront road (Kingsway, A259). For full timetable and route information see: Brighton & Hove Buses.
- By car: driving to Brighton & Hove is relatively straightforward but it should be noted that traffic can get very congested at weekends and holiday periods. Once here drivers often find parking to be problematic. There are a few limited parking options in Brunswick Square and on the seafront.
- If you are visiting by train you can use Hove or Brighton stations, each being approximately 1.3 miles from The Regency Town House. For full timetable and route information see: National Rail UK
Join us for an interactive wine tasting as part of the calendar events for the exhibition ‘No Hard Shoulder’ at The Regency Town House.
About
Join us in the beautiful, grand setting of The Regency Town House for an Artefact tastings of Artefacts 7, 8 & 9: a wild ferment, orange wine and a wine made from a cross-blended variety: Cabaret Noir. These bottles are adorned with vibrant designs from artist The Baron Gilvan.
Our Artefact collection is a unique range of small batch artisan wines, made only in the finest years and produced in limited volumes. Our Artefact range is a playground of experimentation, celebrating the ingenuity of our winemakers. To reflect this creativity, each Artefact wine is adorned with a new commissioned artwork from a contemporary artist that reflects its individual qualities.
As these are produced in limited volumes we don’t usually have them as part of tastings. However to celebrate the exhibition ‘No Hard Shoulder,’ at The Regency Town House throughout May, we thought leading a tasting in these unique and artistic wines would be the perfect pairing.
The tasting will be held in the exhibition space giving you the opportunity to taste three delicious wines whilst looking at a curated exhibition of paintings, sculpture and ceramics.
