About

Private View Wednesday 18th February 2009 6.00 - 9.00pm Music 'til late provided by: Vincent Vincent (special DJ set) HaveAgoHero, Madam Liebervich & the legendary Ross Allen Open daily 10 - 6pm 17/18/19 February ************************ artbelowzeroº is a monthly arts events that showcases art & design works from artists past and present from some of the capital's leading colleges; The Royal College of Art, The Royal Academy, Central St. Martins College, Chelsea College of Art, Goldsmiths College & The Slade School of Fine Art. The event takes place and is held at the prestigious Westbourne Studios complex, the amazing architectural gem of West London that calls the Westway its home and shelter, right in the heart of Portobello, Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove. The artbelowzeroº event facilitates the need for artists/designers to come together and cast a roving eye over their peers works, both to engage in discussion and to forge new friendships and alliances. Numerous disciplines from paintings, sculpture, animation, audio, film & video, music, performance, print, photography, poetry, textiles, amongst others participate in artbelowzeroº events. In this collaboration between Art & Music, selected bands provide music (these range from the experimental to performative mad cap & banal) and DJs from the world of visual arts play music that has inspired them and their working practice. The informal setting gives rise to notion that those who attend may have, ' A dance & discourse with a stranger.' artbelowzeroº info@artbelowzero.com www.artbelowzero.com
