The event takes place and is held at the prestigious Westbourne Studios complex, the amazing architectural gem of West London that calls the Westway its home and shelter, right in the heart of Portobello, Notting Hill and Ladbroke Grove. The artbelowzeroº event facilitates the need for artists/designers to come together and cast a roving eye over their peers works, both to engage in discussion and to forge new friendships and alliances. Numerous disciplines from paintings, sculpture, animation, audio, film & video, music, performance, print, photography, poetry, textiles, amongst others participate in artbelowzeroº events. In this collaboration between Art & Music, selected bands provide music (these range from the experimental to performative mad cap & banal) and DJs from the world of visual arts play music that has inspired them and their working practice.
