ESA will be hosting a Leeds launch party on Thursday 25 September 2008 from 7-10pm for the free quarterly web-based publication ArtArtArt published by London based Matt Roberts Arts, which seeks to initiate debate, and share knowledge about the issues facing contemporary British artists. After recently celebrating their first Birthday artartart (www.artartartgallery.com) this is the first of a series of national launch parties, designed to showcase emerging practitioners in new cities, contributing to a growing network of young artists, and arts organisers. After a rigorous selection process 8 artists working within the field of Live Art and Performative practice have been commissioned to realise innovative new work throughout East Street Arts' studios and project space and the surrounding area. We would like to use the event to meet with artists in Yorkshire and talk about your experiences, in order to inform future articles, and events commissioned.
