Writer and art critic Peter Frank is hosting a creative roundtable at Mash Gallery on Sunday, August 11, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Peter asks, “Does the art "scene" in Los Angeles - or, for that matter, anywhere -- still constitute a stylistic measuring stick?
Mash Gallery introduces a Sunday Art Talk that asks, “Does the art "scene" in Los Angeles - or, for that matter, anywhere -- still constitute a stylistic measuring stick? Is there still a thriving art movement in Los Angeles?”
Please join Los Angeles art critic Peter Frank and an esteemed creative panel: Andi Campognone (Director, Lancaster Museum of Art & History), jill moniz (Co-Founder and director, Quotidian Gallery), and Megan Frances Abrahams, (Artist, writer, and editor of Fabrik Magazine). Peter Frank will moderate and has actively served the Los Angeles art’s community as Associate Editor of Fabrik Magazine, and the former Senior Curator at the Riverside Art Museum.
