NEW MOONS and CELL MATES is an exhibition to celebrate the power of art as a means to rehabilitation. This unique and interesting space will be turned into an art gallery for the month of February exhibiting works by Dean Stalham, Peter Cameron, Lucy Edkins, John Clowes, Sebastion Wilbur and Goldsmiths very own Robbie James with Northern Irelands Stephen Millar. There will be a number of events taking place throughout the main event. 5th FEB @ 7pm. OPENING NIGHT! Speeches from Hip Hop Artist EDDIE OTCHERE! and INSIDE FILMS DEE ONEILL! LIVE MUSIC from JAILGUITARSDOORS very own LEON FENDER WALKER and JOHNNY NEESOM! PERFORMANCE POETRY from the wonderful SIMON MILES! AND NOW LoveLife 6958---CHRIS SYRUS!!! And of course your chance to see the great and fantastic art we have on show! 12th FEB. THE CELL MONOLOGUES @ 7pm. Four plays by four writers referred to us by THE SYNERGY THEATRE PROJECT and CLEAN BREAK. Works by LUCY EDKINS, EVE McDOUGALL, DAVID FREDERICKS and MARK WILLIAMS. Directed by SAM MILLER and STEWART MELTON. 20th FEB. INSIDE FILM PRESENTS @ 7pm a collection of short films by serving prisoners along with an exhibition of photographs. Hosted by Dee Oneill.
