Art retreat in beautiful Provence

After a successful second painting course this spring, I'm delighted to share that I will once again be leading the Mas de Chausse Painting Retreat in Provence from 25th - 31st May, 2024. 

The course, held at a beautiful traditional farmhouse (complete with blue shutters), near to the towns of Avignon and St Remy de Provence, is open to all who want to paint amidst the olive groves and almond trees in the Provencal countryside, whatever their experience. Our most recent students, for example, varied in expertise from a first time oil painter to a seasoned portrait artist. 

As it has been so well received the last two years, we will once again treat our guests to the views, food and wine the region is known for, as well as provide the opportunity to explore the gorgeous surrounding area, with visits to local museums, studios and the like (in addition to painting instruction). It will be great fun!

The property is owned and run by my wonderful friend Fleur Macdonald, who some of you may know already and who truly is the heart and soul of the Mas.
