Art on a Postcard (AOAP) has confirmed more names for its annual fine art postcard auction, now in its sixth year. Bidding is now open via Paddle 8 and this year’s auction and exhibition boasts an exceptional line-up including Norman Ackroyd RA, Jock McFadyen RA, Vanessa Jackson RA, Dan Baldwin, Louise Lawler, Florine Démosthène, Timothy Hyman RA, Jeremy Deller, Joan Snyder, Miya Ando and Helen Beard.
Art on Postcard is a curated postcard auction and only invites gallery artists to take part. The resulting collection of work is of such a high quality Time Out last year dubbed it ‘A mini summer show’. This year’s artworks number around 600 and are produced by over 250 artists hailing from all over the world.
Matching the artist with the artwork has always been part of the fun with Art on a Postcard. All of the work is anonymous until after the sale meaning all the artwork starts on a level playing field, with the reserve price for all featured artworks set at £50. This is a chance to own a unique mini masterpiece by a world class artist at a very special price. The full list of participating artists can be found at https://paddle8.com/auction/hep-c-trust
Can you match the artwork to the artist?
In addition to its partnership with Paddle8 auction house, Art on a Postcard will also be exhibited at We Work in London’s Devonshire Square from 12-14 November. All the money raised goes to The Hepatitis C Trust’s campaign to eliminate hepatitis C by the year 2025.
