About
Jo Baring is a curator, writer and art historian. A former Director of Christie’s, Baring is the co-host and co-writer of the critically acclaimed sculpture podcast Sculpting Lives and the Director of the Ingram Collection of Modern British and Contemporary Art. In 2016 she set up the Ingram Prize to support artists in the early stages of their careers. She is editor of the book Revisiting Modern British Art, a major new reappraisal of 20th century British Art and has curated exhibitions such as Elisabeth Frink: A Collector’s Passion, The Lightbox (2018–2019). She has contributed an essay to the catalogue accompanying Bharti Kher – The Body is a Place.
