From July 1st through August 24th, Street Art fans are invited into the great CAFA Art Museum in Beijing China for a never before seen exhibition. Curated by internationally renowned gallery owner Magda Danysz, « Art from the Streets » traces back the History of Street Art. Indeed, the exhibition comes back on the entire movement from the 80’s to nowadays.
Among more than 50 chinese and international artists, legends of the art movement are presenting their exceptional artworks, such as SEEN aka « The Godfather of Graffiti », FUTURA, JONONE, Shepard FAIREY, JR and BANKSY. On top of that 12 international artists are coming for live painting performances for everyone to see.
As curator Magda Danysz says : « Street art is unquestionably, for who wants to see, the most important artistic movement of the early twenty-first century. For some this is not yet obvious. Time will teach them.” Or a visit to the CAFA Art Museum will, from July 1st to August 24th.
