Our first event in a new series ART IN PUB(LIC) is coming up on Sunday Sept 10 2-5pm at the Royal George (se8 4qd) - it’s a chance to hang out with lovely folks, let your brain go wild and free, have a wee drinkie & embrace some loosey goosey creativity! 💫
Amy Rose Barnes (@amyrosebarnes) is an Artist/ Educator who works with abstract drawing and collage. She is particularly inspired by themes around nature, spirituality, play and the positive effects drawing has on our well-being.
Amy says: “In this chill and open ended activity we will create layered abstract drawings and explore the world of making our own stencils!
(As a child I was told that drawing using a stencil is cheating… so let’s break the rules together!)
This workshop is about connecting with our inner-child, so there’s no pressure of set outcomes, just come along and let’s play with art materials together. Can’t wait to see you there!” ✨
