OBG is delighted to host the exhibition ART IN PROGRESS; a celebration of the art work which has been produced in the last year through three major children's projects. These are the OBG Artist in Residenct Scheme, The Great Art Quest, and the OBG Saturday Art Club. The OBG Artist in Residency Scheme is now in its third year and places a professional artist in primary schools with little access to artists or art facilities to work closely with a teacher and pupils over the course of one term. Last year OBG was selected as one of four major art centres in the U.K to take part in another scheme, the Great Art Quest, sponsored by the Princes Foundation for Children and the Arts. The others are Saatchi Gallery London, Tate Liverpool and Oriel Davies Gallery Wales. OBG Saturday Art Club runs throughout the year. Education Officer Ciara Hickey works with professional artists to design and deliver art workshops in a wide range of media and built around the themes of OBG exhibitions.
