ART IN MIND | AWAKENING will light up Brick Lane with a range of contemporary art from international and UK-based artists at The Brick Lane Gallery (E1 6SA), and The Annexe (E1 6HR). AWAKENING gives audiences a chance to easily stroll from one space to another, enjoying the eclectic mix of mediums, styles and cultures that represent the diversity of art being created today. Whether it be the street-art inspired colourful characters of Spanish artist Pipotino, the monochrome photography by BLANKAAD, or the aboriginal and tribal influenced paintings of Aneta Srodon, the exhibition will bring together an energetic and diverse range of artists for the launch of the art world's new season. Also featured is the emotionally revealing bright abstracts by Bahrain artist Areej Rajab; the unique aesthetic of LA born Drew Mitchell-Wilson's photography, synthesizing the cinematic with traces of high fashion; and the misty landscapes of Polish artist Malgorzata Kisielewska.
