A panel discussion on how artists/curators can be defined by their identity: whether willingly or not.

About

To conclude the Resilience Exile Mutation (REM) at P21 Gallery we will be discussing the exhibition’s founding sentiment “Internal Exile”. What is it? Who does it affect? Why and what can we do about it?

Our panel - featuring both Dema One and Rayan El Nayal this time alongside Aser El Saqqa, managing and creative director of Arts Canteen - will discuss how artists and curators can be defined (or not) by their identity whether willingly or not.

Panel:
Aser El Saqqa - Creative and Managing director and speaker - Arts Canteen
Dema One - artist and speaker - Independent
Rayan El Nayal - Architect, researcher and speaker - Independent
Mishelle Brito - Curator and speaker - Independent
Ghazaleh Zogheib - Curator and moderator - Independent
