ART HOME is a Secret Art Pop-Up private viewing exhibition set inside an actual home. ART HOME provides a pleasant, intimate atmosphere to bring exclusive art lovers, collectors and VIPs together with different themes every time.

Nan Qi’s “Currency” series highlights the global economic power between international currencies such as the US dollar, Europe’s euro, and the Chinese yuan - profoundly political figures that merge into the global balance of power, moreover, it correlates with each individual, regardless of race, age or gender.

A dot is the most basic mark of symmetry and simplicity; it carries a world of meaning, a symbol that connects both the Chinese and Western art tradition. Whilst Nan Qi’s dots may be compared to Andy Warhol’s silkscreen-printed dots and to Roy Liechtenstein’s Ben-Day printed dots, Nan Qi’s ink dots emerged distinctly.  Each dot is meticulously executed by hand - one of the key differences in the creative process from Liechtenstein and Warhol in the uniqueness of Nan Qi’s ink dots. 

Nan Qi’s dot is created with the weight of Chinese ink art history, transcending  the boundaries of Chinese ink painting, with his continuous efforts to renew each work with creativity and relevance to today - 3D artworks,  keeps him at the cutting edge of the contemporary ink painting scene.
