Gallery Management & Exhibition Studies workshop / 10 hour intensive workshop An intensive 10 hour workshop - Art Gallery Management and Exhibition Studies Dates: May 12 - 13 2012 Weekend TImes: Saturday from 11am to 4:00pm Sunday from 11am to 4:00pm Fee: 150.00 GBP An intensive ten hour workshop teaches you the necessary tools and skills to manage a commercial gallery space. The workshop covers Gallery Management, Marketing, Artist Relations, Budget Projection and Exhibition Curation and Design. The Gallery Management and Exhibition studies course was created by experienced gallery manger and curator Tina Ziegler. The 10 hour course will teach you the tools and requirements needed to work in an art gallery environment. You will understand the day to day management of an art space, the responsibilities of a gallery manager and how to create, develop and organize an art exhibition from start to finish.The course will give you a competitive edge over your peers when applying for positions in art galleries or artist run spaces.
