ART FROM ELSEWHERE OPENING JUNE 11TH | 28 INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS FROM THE MOMENTUM COLLECTION @ KULTURSFORUM ANSBACH
Art from Elsewhere brings to Ansbach, for the first time, 28 international artists from 16 countries, joining forces for a group exhibition @ Kulturforum Ansbach. Art from Elsewhere focuses on global issues through video work, painting and installation, revisiting histories and reimagining futures, analysing cultural ceremonies we perceive as ‘otherness’, reflecting on the environmental traumas we inflict on our planet and its creatures and exploring the (un)quiet poetry of the day-to-day.
«As we learn how to negotiate our new reality in a post-pandemic world, emerging carefully after months of isolation, it becomes more important than ever to have such windows through which to gaze. In these uncertain times it is necessary to be reminded that, for all our differences, we are all in this together.»
