About

Having developed their varying styles over many years, two accomplished Yorkshire artists —Paul Talbot Greaves and Clare Haley - have been brought together for the first time in a dynamic and contrasting landscape exhibition. Watercolourist Paul-Talbot Greaves' is incredibly well known in the art world, a publisher of many books and a lecturer in art, his work is flawless in its ability to convey the simplicity of the upland landscape via bold use of colour and his ability to capture light. Creating a strong contrast to this style are the stunning Turner-esque oil paintings from Clare Haley, the clouds brooding with intensity and a vast beautifully illuminated landscape. This unique exhibition opens on Saturday 3rd November at the Harrison Lord Gallery in Brighouse and is free to attend.
