Art Car Boot Sale offers a unique opportunity to meet and buy from the artists that drive Glasgow's contemporary scene.
About
Returning for its third year, the Art Car Boot Sale is a chance to buy unique or limited edition art, transported straight from the studio by the artists themselves. Whether by bike, van, car or camper, Glasgow's vibrant art community will be out in force offering a handshake and a chat, and brand new works at affordable prices.
The event utilises the unique spaces SWG3 has to offer, with the outdoor Galvanizer's Yard playing host to a range of street food vendors and bars, and DJs providing entertainment over the course of the weekend.
The Art Car Boot Sale brings the wider public into contact with over 100 sought-after artists working in Glasgow today, including a host of well-known names such as: Christine Borland, Michael Fullerton, Ilana Halperin, Jim Lambie, Tessa Lynch, Toby Paterson, Ciara Phillips, Kate V Robertson, Ross Sinclair and Gregor Wright, who will all be accompanied by exciting early-career artists and recent graduates.
