About
The tutored illustration and drawing vacation is run by professional painter and illustrator Irena Sophia from her seaside summer house in Vodice, on the Croatian Adriatic coast. Available to solo travelers, couples, friends, and non-participating partners alike, the illustration and drawing vacation includes daily tutored lessons and workshops adapted for a wide range of levels, from beginner to advanced. Tuition is adapted to suit guests' needs, interests, experience and ability levels, with people doing as much or as little drawing and painting as they wish. You will explore soft pencil and charcoal basic drawing techniques and cover basic watercolors and tempera techniques. Your daily art lessons will cover the following topics:
- Drawing basics
- Color theory and exercises
- Illustration styles and techniques
- Sketchbook experimentation
- Drawing and painting en plein air
