Art Auction

Bag yourself a bargain and help support the Arts Islington Arts Factory host their annual fund-raising art exhibition and auction which features an eclectic mix of established names and emerging talent. Preview the work in the Metamorphosis Gallery between 6 — 12 May 2011 (normal opening hours) and join us for our art auction on the 13 May 2011 (7pm — 9.30pm) and bid to own some truly original work. All proceeds raised from the art auction go towards the continued work of Islington Arts Factory to provide high-quality, low cost, dance art and music classes, courses and workshops for children and adults. This year's contributions have kindly been donated by: John Pearce (exhibited at Geoffrey Museum and Tate Britain), Jane Wildgoose (Yale Centre for British Art, USA), Brendan Neiland (V&A Museum, Tate< The Collections of the British Council and the Arts Council of England) Jef Aerosol (Signal Gallery, Galerie Lipao-Huang, Ad Hoc Art Gallery, Musee des Avelines), Serena Korda (Parfitt Gallery, Wellcome Collection and Camden Arts Centre) as well as an assortment of emerging and new artists, including artists from the Islington Arts Factory's gallery programme. Bids will be accepted any time during the preview week in person, email or telephone as well as on the auction evening.
