Open Studio event taking place around Bowness on Solway. There are ten artists to visit his year, expect to see painting, sculpture, fused glass, woodturning, ceramics, photography- and some beautiful studios all within a ten mile radius.

About

Take a peak inside a diverse range of studios, not normally open to the public. Meet the artists, see work in progress, discuss creative methods and inspiration. As well as a chance to buy work directly, open studios offer a unique insight into artistic practices. Bowness on Solway lies half an hour to the west of Carlisle. Follow the coast road out along the edge of the Solway Firth and enjoy exploring this tidal land known locally as 'the island'. All studios are open 11- 5, Saturday and Sunday 17-18th and 24-25th September. A warm welcome awaits.
