The Army Arts Society (AAS) is pleased to present its Annual Exhibition at The Young Galleries, Salisbury Library, from Friday 21st October – Saturday 5th November 2016. Mrs Sarah Troughton, HM Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, will open the exhibition and judge and award the prizes.
About
The artwork on display will reflect the varied membership of the AAS, which consists of serving and retired soldiers and their families. Included in the exhibition will also be work by wounded, sick and injured soldiers from a number of Recovery Centres. Craft and sculptures, as well as painting and photography are encouraged at the exhibition and work from renowned artists, such as Richard Salter, a serving soldier and finalist of last year’s BBC’s Big Painting Challenge, will be on show.
This showcase exhibition will run every day, except Sunday, during library opening hours, 10am to 5pm.
