An exhibition of creative projects made by the Young Archivists in response to our archives and local history collections.
About
Over the past year, ten local 14-18 year-olds have joined us in Croydon Archives, meeting for workshops exploring archives, heritage and Croydon: reinterpreting our collections through their perspectives.
Instead of providing a historical account of Croydon, this exhibition draws together different time periods and subject matter to share the Young Archivists' understandings of the place they call home. Archives Can Be Anything! is an overview of Croydon through the eyes of its youth.
You can expect art, zines, films, poetry and more - co-created by ten local 14-18 year-olds to share their perspectives on Croydon, heritage and underrepresented histories.
